Every Duration shingle is built on the same architectural platform: a heavyweight, dimensional profile and the patented SureNail strip that gives your installer a clear, fabric-reinforced nailing zone. From there, we step you up the line based on how much hail and impact protection your home actually needs. Most Colorado homeowners on the Front Range pick a Class 4 product (STORM or FLEX) for the insurance discount, while TruDefinition Duration covers the rest of the market with a Class 3 impact rating.

Built for hail country. A polymeric scrim bonded to the back of the shingle reinforces the mat so it can better absorb the impact of hail, helping protect your roof and your wallet.
Class 4 impactSBS polymer-modified asphalt that stays flexible in the cold.
Engineered with a rubberized SBS modified asphalt blend, Duration FLEX shingles stay pliable through Front Range freeze-thaw cycles, helping them shrug off hailstrikes and brittle-cold weather.
